Crakka's pedigree

Crakka is a Dual National Labrador Championship winner, having taken out the title of Best In Show at the 2nd Labrador National in May 2002 under judge Mr Derek Coulson of the UK.  Mr Coulson in his critique said ""This dog commanded attention as soon as he strode into the ring.  He is a joy to go over, from his lovely shaped head, masculine without being coarse and with a kind and intelligent Labrador expression.  The strong neck flows into well laid shoulders and the line continuous through his topline to the well set tail.  He is strong in rib and loin and well angulated both fore and aft.  Has well boned legs with correct feet. He was shown in full bloom and in good hard condition, the overall picture being completed by his excellent driving movement.  He really knows how to move and his handler gets the best out of him.  I was pleased to give him the challenge and finally against a lovely bitch, the award of Best in Show."

He then successfully defended his title in May 2004 at the 3rd Labrador National under judge, Mrs Anja Verbeek of Farbourne Labradors, Holland
Crakka has competed in Royals around Australia, being awarded Best In Show at the Perth Royal 2001 and Best in Gundog Group at the 2001 Sydney Royal Easter Show.  In 2002 Crakka attained the title of Australian  Grand Champion at only 2 and a half years of age.

During 2004 Crakka not only travelled to South Australia for the National but he also travelled to Queensland to compete in the 2004 Labrador Club of Queensland Championship.  At this prestigious event judged by Mrs Marion Hopkinson of Rocheby Kennels (UK) Crakka was awarded Runner Up BIS.  In her critique Mrs Hopkinson said "Gr Ch. Blackboy Cream Crakka commands attention as soon as he moves into the ring, super eye-catching yellow who exudes quality.  Head well defined with good skull shape and definite stop, super dark pigment and kind eager eye, good neck, front brisket, well ribbed and super quarter which he used to drive off. Best dog with pleasure."

Update: Crakka wins Challenge Dog under breed specialist Ms. Kirsi Luomonem (Finland) at the Labrador
Retriever Club of W.A. 2006 Championship show.  His daughter Alice takes Best in Show

In 2006, we travelled to Brisbane in Queensland for the 4th. Lab National.  Crakka again being unbeaten in class in three Nationals, took first place in Aust. Bred dog under specialist , Mr. David Craig from the UK
Critique: "Lovely yellow full of class and quality, good body, barrel rib, excellent topline and well muscled hindquarters.  Looks really good on the move, where he is a joy to watch, very close up in the dog challenge.  To be critical would just prefer a harder coat texture but still a top class exhibit"

Crakka is proving his worth as a sire with his son "Jack" attaining the title of Canadian Champion at the tender age of 7 and a half months "Canadian Ch. Torravean Crakka Jack" while here in Australia, he has
sired many champions

June 2007 - Crakka takes another Best In Show at the Labrador Retriever Club of W.A. Championship Show, under Gundog Specialist, Mrs. Heather Morrison of Tasmania
